Incoming frames are fully received and validated (FCS check) before being forwarded to the destination port(s). The 1K MAC address table is automatically populated through source address learning, with entries aged out after a configurable timeout. Broadcast, multicast, and unknown unicast frames are flooded to all ports within the same VLAN.<\/p>\n\n
